Day 10 without a vape

10 days vape-free

Change phone and gaming cues

Ten days vape-free is a chance to work on cues that happen many times a day. Scrolling, watching videos or gaming may have been paired with vaping even when you did not notice a clear start or finish.

How can I stop pairing screen time with vaping?

Choose one screen activity and give it a new setup: a different seat, a drink within reach or a hands-busy activity between sessions. Decide what you will do when the urge appears. You are practising a replacement routine; you do not need to change every leisure activity at once.

How to make day 10 count

  • Pick the screen activity most strongly linked to vaping.
  • Change one feature of its usual setting.
  • Record which replacement was easy enough to use more than once.

What is worth recording in a craving log?

Include the activity, what happened just before the urge, your response and whether it helped. “Wanted to vape while scrolling after dinner” is more useful for planning than a count alone. Review the notes for situations that repeat.

Progress checkpoints by day 10

These checkpoints show time since quitting. Health changes vary; a reached marker is not a medical assessment. Vaping milestones do not inherit the evidence for cigarette-smoking recovery.

Keep your support plan — about 4 days to go.

Some symptoms ease gradually; others last longer. Seek support if symptoms are difficult to manage.

The money that stayed with you

For an illustrative vaping budget of $20 per week, 10 days would avoid about $29 in spending. Your own costs may differ.
