About the app
Quit Smoking, Vaping, Alcohol is an independent iPhone and Android app with one job: putting an honest number on quitting. A sober day counter that runs from the exact moment of your last drink, cigarette, or puff — with the milestones, money saved, and health recovery timeline that make the number mean something on a hard evening.
It was built around a simple observation: most quit apps are built for perfect quits, and most real quits aren’t perfect. So the app is deliberately relapse-tolerant — a slip restarts your current streak but never erases your history, your longest run, or the milestones you’ve earned. It’s also deliberately private: no account, no feed, no public profile. Your quit data stays on your phone.
The guides on this site exist to answer the questions people actually search for in week one — what withdrawal feels like, when sleep comes back, what 30 days changes. We hold them to a few rules:
The app is a self-help tool, not a medical service, and nothing here is medical advice. If you are physically dependent on alcohol, talk to a doctor before stopping — withdrawal can be dangerous, and medically supervised withdrawal is routine and safe. In the US, the SAMHSA National Helpline (1-800-662-4357) is free, confidential, and open 24/7.
Questions, corrections, or feedback on the app or a guide are genuinely welcome: mbviksva@gmail.com — or see the support page.
